We have a fully funded position for a PhD student to join our group in Fall 2024.
The student will be part of the exciting cohort of the Interdisciplinary Design and Media Program. If you're interested in applying, get in touch.
What do I need to join your group
Researchers in our lab can come from a variety of backgrounds. Our work spans from mechanical engineering to psychology so don't feel you need to be a computer scientist to work with us.
At the core, you must be interested in XR research and have skills that can help us achieve our goals. Since we build interactive artifacts, coding skills are often required (for example Unity3D or Unreal). However, if you are an excellent interaction or UX designer, get in touch. Other skills that are often helpful: writing, building physical prototypes, and statistics.

How do I join the group
If you are already an undergraduate or graduate student at Northeastern: get in touch. We often have projects where you can be helpful while learning along the way. You are also welcome to join our group meetings and learn more about what we do.
If you are a prospective graduate student: the best path is to apply to a graduate program at Northeastern. We usually work with graduate students from both the Khoury College of Computer Sciences (MS or PhD in Computer Science) and the College of Arts, Media, and Design (MS in Game Science and Design MS or Interdisciplinary Design and Media PhD). My ability to fund you may vary depending on where you apply.
