The Reality Design Studio is an interdisciplinary research group at Northeastern University, Boston campus. Our mission is to produce scientific and design knowledge and educate the next generation of artists, scientists, designers, and engineers.

Open PhD Position
We are looking for students to join our group in Fall 2025 through the Interdisciplinary Design and Media Program. Successful applicants will have a mix of technical, creative, and analytical skills. That generally means someone with 1) software and prototyping skills to realize their own ideas and 2) the ability to think thoroughly about the implications of their work.
Prior research experience or an MS is a plus! Along mixed reality, students with solid skills in HCI/psychology methods, machine learning, UX/UI design, or robotics are welcome to apply.
